If you are new here, you may have a lot of questions! We’ve compiled here the most common questions we have received:
- Where is the convention?
At the VTF Le Sénéquet Resort in Blainville-sur-mer 10 minutes walk away from the beach.
Next to Coutances in the département of La Manche (50) in Normandy. The venue is owned by a Non-profit association in the Tourism industry. The venue will be completely privatised during the event and dedicated to us, furries. - When will the convention take place?
The event will take place between September 25th and 29th 2026. We cannot offer any early arrival or late departure. Please note that all accomodation must be freed on the 29th by 10am and no further event will take place that day. - How to get there?
By car, it’s the easiest way, and a free parking lot is available at the resort.
The closest train station is located in Coutances (15 minutes away via taxi). - How many attendees will be there?
We have set a cap of 300 attendees. - I am under 18, may I come?
No, the con is strictly reserved to 18 years or older attendees (an exception is made for babies whose parents must take care of, but they are not regarded as attendees). - How much is it?
350 euros all inclusive: convention ticket + accomodation + meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
We also provide an option for sponsor (Tier 1: 30€) and super sponsor (Tier 2: 70€). They allow you to support this convention and get exclusive goods, t-shirts (Tier 1&2) and hoodies (Tier 2). - Can I buy a ticket at location?
No, this event is strictly private and no day ticket will be issued. The convention ticket must be purchased before the registration closing depending on available spots. - When do I have to pay?
Once your registration has been accepted, you have 21 days to pay for the ticket. If you miss the deadline, your registration might get canceled and we won’t be able to guarantee a spot if the attendee cap is reached. - May I get a refund if I cannot make it?
No, however we have a ticket exchange system setup if you want to resell your ticket to another attendee.
This exchange must be validated by the convention organizers and respect our terms and conditions. It is not possible to sell the ticket at a higher price. - What is on the menu?
The resort provides an all-you-can-eat buffet with starters, entree, cheese and deserts. They accomodate for omnivorous, vegetarian, and vegan diets every day of the convention. These meals are included in the con ticket. - What is there to drink?
The resort has its own bar opened during lunch and late afternoon/early evening.
We also provide a con-run bar with our furbarmen and their exclusive cocktails! Please keep in mind that due to local laws, the con-run bar isn’t allowed to serve strong liquor. Only the resort bar is allowed to do so.
*Consumption of alcohol is a risk to your health. Any abuse will be prosecuted* - Where will I sleep?
The resort offers 2 kinds of accommodation. Appartments with a minimum of 2 attendees, and resort houses with a minimum of 4 attendees.
Warning, bedsheets and towels will not get replaced or clean during the event.
Once the registration is closed, all the owner of roomshare will be contacted. - May I chose my roommates or stay alone?
A roomshare system is in place and allows you to be between 2 and 6 attendees in your accomodation (depending on availability).
You must share the accomodation with at least one other person. Please note that appartments offer an upper floor with extra beds if you want to sleep away from your roommate. - May I sleep outside of the resort?
Yes, it is possible. Please note that we do not offer any discount if you don’t sleep at the resort. - May I invite people who did not get a convention ticket?
No, all spaces in the resort, including outside, is privatised for the event. People who are not attending FurCalvaDance are not allowed within the vicinity of the resort. - May I bring a pet?
It is possible under certain conditions:
– You must book a resort house (not an appartment);
– You have to get your roommates approval;
– Pets are not allowed in the interior spaces of the resort;
– They must be kept with a leash when they are outside;
– They have to be respectful of people, other animals and fursuiters;
– You must keep control of your pet’s behavior;
– You have to send a notice to normandifurs@gmail.com as soon as you have paid for your ticket.
